I too attended the PAP kindergarten at blk 75. I had a family friend who stayed there and I even stayed with them for a month or 2 when my grandmother was recovering from surgery and couldn't take care of me. I remember the playground in front of that stretch of flats. Think it was a 'bird' design? Spent a lot of time playing there and the railway! Once again, thank you for the memories! - SHLxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05934255275030765411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7879616429817825762.post-86073164105604177312021-08-28T10:23:47.434+08:002021-08-28T10:23:47.434+08:00Mr.J

My aunt's shop is nearby.catcathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15290593825010503143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7879616429817825762.post-67471416369634663022021-08-01T21:56:19.660+08:002021-08-01T21:56:19.660+08:00Hello Catcat,

The kindergarten was where I'd wait for my school bus to take me to Primary School. I attended Sparkletots at Queenstown CC. Hock Ann Bakery was where my birthday cakes came from too! I, too, miss this place horribly. There is just a massive tinge of grief knowing that I may never return to the sights and sounds of my childhood. Thank you for keeping these images such that on this very night, I am blessed enough to see them. Thank you. Unfortunately, I was a little too late. Went to visit the area early this year but everything had been boarded up. It was so sad I only managed to see everything only from far.. And to think I will never get to see it again.. I really missed those days that means so much to me, cause that place holds the last of memories of my grandpa. I get so emotional every time I think of this place. Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16161660386833414411noreply@blogger.com
